OUR STORY
Performance Turf Innovations is the premier source for expert artificial grass design and installation throughout the Northeast – especially Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts (including Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard), and Eastern New York (including Long Island). It is a partnership between Steve Hinding, Michael Carpenter –two contractors with a combined 60 years experience in landscaping and installing residential and recreational surfaces – and Celebrity Greens®, an industry leader with an impressive history of designing and building championship-level short courses and putting greens for the most demanding clients.
For their part, Celebrity Greens pioneered the golf green industry in the 1990s, perfecting the use of synthetic turf in this realm. They have built a reputation for exceptional attention to the aesthetics, scale and complexity of their designs, and the quality of the materials and the installation technology used in their construction. Today, the founder of Celebrity Greens – Weston Weber – and their numerous exclusive partnerships can boast installations of more than 3,000 artificial turf projects in 17 countries on 4 continents. These include projects for more than 70 PGA Tour professionals.
Our Pathway is to provide a customer-driven process that helps each client uncover and understand their personal synthetic turf needs. Each putting green or synthetic turf installation is unique. As we develop and enhance a project or property, we drive to explore the specific nuances that each customer desires. What is the optimal approach for the project at hand, and how we can serve the needs of each customer. Through this relationship, comprehensive landscape health, beauty and resilience is the result.
